Helps absorb the initial shock of the downrigger weight when hitting the downrigger boom during rewinding. Prevents damage to cable and possible loss of downrigger weight. The shock kit also keeps cable taut when rewound. Kit Contains: One 1-1/2" stopper, one 4" stainless steel spring, one extra long downrigger thimble and one snap swivel.
